City & Guilds has written the following assessments to use with these
Qualification(s): 7290 -11/ 12 among others
• Online multiple choice tests.
• Practical Assignments to assess essential skills: comprising of practical tasks,
observation, verbal questioning and short answer questions to cover all learning
outcomes and with their practical assessment pack. Additional material may be required but not mandatory
These are carried out in the classroom and must be completed to current industry
standards and practice.
Assignments are carried out in centres and must be completed to current industry standards
and practice. It is important to note that although the units within these qualifications bear a
close relationship to the VCQ units, they do not imply occupational competence.
